For donuts:
500 g flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
2 beaten eggs
175 g caster sugar
1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
15 cl of milk
1 tablespoon melted butter
For icing:
200 g icing sugar
1 lemon
1 egg white
food coloring
vermicelli colored in sugar
INSTRUCTIONS :
For donuts:
2. Take another bowl and mix the already beaten eggs, sugar and vanilla. Mix until mixture is thick.
3. Melt the butter and mix it with the milk, add the flour mixture and beat until the mixture is homogeneous.
4. After covering and put the dough in the fridge for 2 hours.
5. Then, on a floured board, spread the dough about 1 cm thick. Cut the donuts with a bowl or other.
6. Fry for a minute or until lightly browned and turn over with a skimmer on the other side and cook for another minute.
7. Remove from the fryer and place on paper towels.
For icing:
9. Mix well until you have a smooth glaze.
10. Dip the donuts in the frosting.
11. Sprinkle with vermicelli and let dry 1 hour before eating.
